The Alphacool G1/4 Female to Female L-Connector - Black is a 90° angle adapter with a G1/4 inner thread on both ends, one connector per pack. Alphacool lists it as the HF L-connector G1/4 IG to G1/4 IG in Deep Black.

Function of this connector

A sleeve with two 1/4 inch internal threads is particularly interesting if you want to extend connections, or connect components that have external threads to a connection. Alphacool points to the 90 degree bend as the practical part here.

What a run needs

The connector has no outer thread, so each end takes a fitting or another part with a G1/4 outer thread. Compression fittings and extensions are, and similar adapters are under 90 degree adapter fittings.

Finish and colors

Alphacool says its fittings go new ways in looks, quality of manufacturing, colors and choice, and that the inner diameter of these fittings truly deserves the "high flow" attribute. The first three colors, Chrome, Deep Black and Shiny Copper, are meant to offer something for every taste. This one is the Deep Black version, and we also have it in Chrome. Alphacool designed the product matching series to look elegant in every system, highlighting the individual design of the computer. In Alphacool's words, the limits are endless in combination with Alphacool tubing. A new process during chromatising leaves the surface finish completely connected with the brass body. Alphacool states this is ensuring permanent, intense colors, hence preventing peeling of the chrome layer. Some of the fittings carry the Alphacool name in blue lettering, which additionally underlines the individuality of these items.

Notes

• Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
