Alphacool Decoupling Standoff Kit (13701)

The Alphacool Decoupling Standoff Kit is a set of four rubber buffers with an M4 thread for mounting a pump vibration-free in a PC enclosure. Alphacool lists it as its decoupling set for Eheim, Hydor and Laing attachments (article 13701) and says it is particularly suitable for the DDC attachment.

What it does

The decoupling kit allows vibration-free mounting of the pump of a water cooling system in the case. With the dampers between pump and enclosure, no vibration can be passed on to the case or even be amplified by it. The pump then works almost inaudibly; Alphacool's own word is silently. Of course all other components and devices can also be installed vibration-free with this kit.

What the pump needs

Each buffer has an M4 thread 11 mm long on one side and takes an M4 mounting screw with a 5 mm thread on the other. Washers and nuts for the four buffers are included. The pump and its top are separate.
