The Alphacool Eiszapfen G1/4 45 Degree Angled Rotatable Adapter Fitting - Chrome is a 45 degree angle adapter, one per pack. This adapter has on one side a rotatable G1/4 external thread and on the other side a G1/4 female (internal) thread. It is brass, 35 mm long and 18.5 mm in diameter.

Where it is used

Alphacool gives the format as a 45 degree angle adapter. An angled connection like this usually finds use where the 1/4 inch threads sit too close to each other, so that larger hose connections do not fit together next to each other.

The Eiszapfen series

Alphacool calls its Eiszapfen connector series the high-end version of the proven connections. It says all requirements that are placed on a connection are fulfilled here: High Flow, form, processing and coloring. In its words, intransigence (uncompromising work) in development and production have helped make the icicles what they are. Two versions are available, in brilliant Chrome and in matte, deep black, and Alphacool says both fit perfectly into any system.

Coating and O-rings

With a special process, the coatings are firmly connected to the ground, the substrate. Alphacool says this is so the intense colors stay permanent, hence ensuring their longevity, and peeling or flaking of the coating is inhibited. Each port now has the Alphacool logo, making it unique in addition to its special shape.

For those who like it colorful, Alphacool says three different colored O-Rings are included. Under existing UV lighting, each of these lights up even in the appropriate color.

Notes

• Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
