Alphacool NexXxoS UT60 Full Copper X-Flow 360mm Radiator (14239)

The Alphacool NexXxoS UT60 Full Copper X-Flow 360mm Radiator is a 360 mm radiator for three 120 mm fans, 60 mm thick. It is the X-Flow type: the water goes in on one side and leaves on the other. It measures 413 x 124 x 60 mm and has M3 fan threads and six G1/4 connections, three on each chamber.

Full copper

Alphacool says the new NexXxoS radiators are the first to truly deserve the "Full copper" attribute. All main parts are made from copper: not only the fins and channels, but the chambers also. Alphacool claims this brings an improvement in performance where other radiators are left without a chance.

X-Flow

In structure, Alphacool's X-Flow Radiators differentiate materially from the standard radiators, because they are designed for high flow rates. Each of the two sides carries a beveled copper chamber, and both have an identical structure. Water jetting through all available channels at the same time reaches the other chamber, which is the one it then leaves the radiator from.

Ports and mounting

Versatile and easy mounting is one of the main points on which the research and development department at Alphacool focused. The chamber offers three possibilities for fitting installation on both inlet and outlet (not on the NexXxoS ST30), which gives this radiator its six connections. With that choice less angled fittings are needed, improving flow rates and offering more mounting possibilities.

What the loop needs

Two of the six G1/4 connections are used, one as inlet and one as outlet, so the radiator takes two fittings. The other four connections take the four screw plugs in the box. It takes three 120 mm fans on M3 threads, and mounting hardware is in the box.

Notes

• Alphacool asks that the radiator be used only in conjunction with clear, transparent water cooling fluids. It warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses. That can also result in voiding the manufacturer's warranty.
