The Alphacool Eisbaer LT (Solo) - Black is the pump and cooler unit of the Eisbaer LT AiO liquid cooler on its own, without radiator, tubes and fans. It mounts on AMD AM4 and AM5 and on Intel LGA 1700 and 1851, among the sockets listed below. To build the loop you still need a radiator, hoses from our tubing and two G1/4 fittings.
Compatibility follows Alphacool's current list, which marks none of the sockets above as optional. Alphacool's manual shows brackets and screws for LGA 115x, LGA 1200, LGA 1700/1851 and LGA 2066 and for AM4 / AM5. It shows no mounting steps for the other sockets on the list. On LGA 115x, 1200 and 1700/1851 the enclosed backplate is fixed to the back of the mainboard with its tape.
Thermal paste is included. The manual has you remove the old paste from the CPU, apply a pea-sized blob and spread it with a plastic strip into an even, thin layer of less than 0.5 mm. Tighten the screws hand-tight only, without tools.
Alphacool calls the Eisbaer LT popular and says it is now also available in a solo version. This gives you the opportunity to design your own AiO solution according to your wishes. You decide for yourself which hoses and radiators you want to use, so nothing stands in the way of your own design ideas, in Alphacool's words. Alphacool calls the unit the perfect base to create your own CPU AiO water cooling system, and adds: let your ideas run wild.
The basis of the unit is the DC-LT 2 2600 Ceramic Pump, which Alphacool calls well-known and which is also available separately as the DC-LT 2 - 2600rpm Ceramic. It was specially developed for compact systems and offers enough performance to create a loop for them. The pump can be regulated via a voltage from 6 to 13.5 V. Alphacool says this means the already high performance of the water cooling circuit is maintained. It also says this significantly reduces the volume of the already extremely quiet pump. The standard voltage is 12V DC, and Alphacool's page gives the permitted voltage as 6-13.5V DC and the power draw as 3.2 W. The pumped medium is water or a water/glycol mixture.
The cooler bottom is made of pure copper. It has an ultra-fine cross slot structure, for maximum cooling performance according to Alphacool. To further increase the performance, the unit also uses a nozzle technology. This accelerates the water just before it hits the CPU cooling plate, so that the heat can be transported away from the CPU more quickly.
