The DIXON - 2JM2-B is designed for tool-free hose and pipe coupling and uncoupling (socket coupling; sleeve locking mechanism). It includes a tubular valve for flow control during coupling and uncoupling. Made of brass with a zinc-plated finish, this fitting provides sealed, leak-resistant connections suitable for pneumatic and fluid transfer applications when used with fittings/hoses rated for the specified pressures, temperatures, and fluids. It is compatible with automotive-style hoses and follows the Tru-Flate-Automotive interchange standard. The coupling is rated for a maximum working pressure of 300 psi and flow rate up to 736.23 liters per minute (when used under the specified pressure conditions).
