It facilitates rapid connection and disconnection using a sleeve locking mechanism, providing a seal at the connection point when installed using compatible components and within the specified pressure and temperature ranges. This coupling is compatible with pneumatic and hydraulic systems when used with compatible fittings and hoses. It is compatible with industrial hose/coupling interchange systems for which the specified thread and connection type are appropriate (M)NPT, 1/4-18 (male NPT). It includes an integrated tubular valve for regulating flow during connection and disconnection.
