Hylomar Advanced Formulation is a solvent-free, non-setting, non-hardening gasket and jointing compound, supplied in a 250 mL cartridge. Designed as a gasket dressing and flange sealant, it is a mobile compound that fills and seals surface imperfections in flange mating surfaces rather than leaving a set film between them. It does not set or harden, so parts can be assembled immediately or left indefinitely before making the joint, and dismantled components can be cleaned by rubbing with an acetone-soaked cloth without scraping. It resists most automotive fluids and many other chemicals, along with joint vibration, shock, and differential thermal expansion, and operates from -55°C to 250°C (-67°F to 482°F).
