It allows tool-free connection and disconnection and is compatible with water or air within the specified pressure and temperature ratings. This coupling is intended to form a sealed connection for fluid transfer when properly installed. The fitting is constructed from steel with a zinc-plated finish and features nitrile seals for sealing performance within the specified pressure and temperature ratings. The coupling's male hose fitting has a 3/8 in size and a 3/8"-18 thread size. It is rated for hose inner diameters of 3/8 in and supports use up to 300 psi at 70°F when properly installed.
