It features one male (street) NPT threaded end and one female (socket) NPT threaded end, allowing direct connection between a pipe and another fitting without requiring a short nipple. Rated for use within Class 150 pressure specifications and for Schedule 40 pipe as per intended applications, this fitting is suitable for applications involving air, natural gas, non-potable water, oil, potable water, and steam.
