The WEATHERHEAD - 57 is a quick connect hose coupling designed for rapid, tool-free connection and disconnection of air and fluid lines. It features nitrile seals intended to reduce the likelihood of leakage when properly connected within specified pressure and temperature limits. The coupling is compatible with 3/4-14 NPT thread connections and the stated interchange/universal specification. It is intended for use with air and fluid line applications using couplings with the stated connection type and fittings. Constructed from steel with a zinc-plated finish, it features a sleeve locking mechanism and uses nitrile seals to maintains a connection using a sleeve locking mechanism with nitrile seals when connected to compatible fittings. It is rated for operation within -40°F to 250°F.
