Desktop 1-slot Thunderbolt 5 to PCIe Card Expansion System for Computers with Thunderbolt or USB4 Ports
Connect One Full-height, Half-length+ PCIe Card (Plus Daughter Card)
Laptops and mini PCs equipped with Thunderbolt 5 deliver powerful performance but often lack the PCIe expansion slots creative professionals need to add specialized ports and processing capabilities for their workflows. Sonnet addresses this limitation with the Echo SE I T5 Thunderbolt 5 to PCIe Card Expansion System.
This compact, single-slot solution is compatible with the latest Macs, Windows PCs, and Linux computers featuring Thunderbolt or USB4 ports. Using the included Thunderbolt 5 cable, it enables seamless connection of almost any Thunderbolt-compatible PCIe card, excluding GPUs, to expand your system's capabilities.
Pro PCIe Card Expansion
The Echo SE I T5 allows you to connect professional PCIe cards, including video capture and playback cards, audio interfaces, SAS, SATA, and Fiber Channel host bus adapters, multiport 10Gb or 25Gb Ethernet cards, and RAID controllers, to add the ports and processing capabilities your computer lacks.
With up to 6,000 MB/s of bidirectional PCIe bandwidth, it delivers twice the bandwidth of Thunderbolt 4 or Thunderbolt 3. When connected to a computer equipped with Thunderbolt 5, it enables high-bandwidth PCIe cards to achieve even greater performance, making it an ideal solution for demanding professional workflows.
One PCIe 4.0 Slot and Space for a Daughter Card
The Sonnet Echo SE I T5 features an x8 PCIe 4.0 slot that accommodates either a single-width or double-width PCIe card. This flexibility supports professional video and audio cards, such as the Blackmagic Design DeckLink 8K Pro G2, which occupies two card spaces, as well as primary cards with connected daughter cards that use the adjacent space to provide additional ports and functionality.
Power to Spare
The Echo SE I T5 features an auxiliary PCIe power connector, allowing it to support cards that require additional power, including the AJA KONA 5, Blackmagic Design DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G, DeckLink 8K Pro G2, and Deltacast 12G/4C.
Supports Almost Any Thunderbolt-compatible, Non-GPU PCIe Card
Measuring just 3.4 inches wide, 11.2 inches long, and 5.8 inches tall, the compact Echo SE I T5 accommodates PCIe cards up to 7.75 inches in length. It supports nearly all Thunderbolt-compatible PCIe 4.0, 3.0, 2.0, and 1.1 cards, offering excellent flexibility for professional applications.
