Watercool HEATKILLER® Tube - Stand - Long (30231)

A stand for HEATKILLER® Tube series reservoirs, so the reservoir mounts directly on any horizontal surface. The Watercool HEATKILLER® Tube - Stand - Long (30231) is compatible with the standalone, DDC and D5 versions.

Two lengths, and why this one

Watercool's product information shows there are two different lengths of the stand available for HEATKILLER Tube reservoirs, and here you have the long one. The two versions are compatible as follows:

• Long version: fits the standalone, DDC and D5 execution of the reservoir
• Short version (short): fits the standalone Tube and the DDC version, and the D5 version only with simultaneous use of the decoupling kit under the base

So with a D5 pump in the bottom of the reservoir, the long stand needs nothing extra. If your reservoir has no D5, the HEATKILLER Tube Stand - Short is the other size.

Mounting and decoupling

According to Watercool's technical specifications the stand is powder coated sheet steel in black. It is attached to the reservoir with two countersunk screws, and four holes in its foot let you screw it onto the case floor. An optional decoupling can be used between the base and the case floor. It prevents the transmission of any existing vibrations of the pump to the housing: the Decoupling Kit for Stand is sold separately.
