Constructed as a robust metal exo-skeleton, the AtomX Ninja V cage encapsulates your device, offering a multitude of industry-standard mount points across its top and bottom surfaces. The base of the cage is equipped with a 1/4''-20, 3/8''-16, and ARRI style locating mount points, offering you a wide range of mounting options.
The cage also features NATO rails on both the top and bottom, making it compatible with a variety of SmallRig quick release mounts such as the Ball Head Magic Arm 2071 or 2072. The Ninja V is securely fastened into the cage using a 1/4''-20 screw on the top and two M3 screws on the left-hand side, ensuring stability and security during use.
The SmallRig AtomX Cage also includes a single HDMI cable clamp that attaches to the left of the unit, providing essential protection for your HDMI cable and port. This feature is perfect for securing the AtomFlex 4k60p HDMI cable to the Ninja V, but it also accommodates various other HDMI cables.
If needed, the cage supports the addition of a second SmallRig HDMI cable clamp 1693 for use with the HDMI output. The cage is designed to accommodate both the new AtomX SSD drives and the older Atomos Master Caddy II, which can be inserted and removed from the Ninja V while in the cage.
The cage also includes a drive lock that integrates the additional size of the Master Caddy II into the overall form factor. Raised attachment points on both the top and bottom of the cage allow for the use of a strap or to accommodate the Atomos Ninja V Sunhood frame.
