Overview The 2inch Capacitive Touch LCD Module is a compact embedded display development module designed for GUI projects, touch interface testing, electronics prototyping and microcontroller display applications. It is not a standalone consumer monitor, television or commercial display device. This IPS LCD module features 240×320 resolution and 262K colors, making it suitable for colorful icons, text, menu pages, status information, parameter settings and graphical interface development. The display section uses the ST7789T3 driver and communicates through the SPI interface. For touch interaction, the module integrates the CST816D capacitive touch controller and communicates through the I2C interface.

This helps reduce host IO usage while supporting responsive touch input, menu navigation and interactive control functions. The module provides both a 15PIN connector and an 18PIN FPC slot for connecting the LCD to the host board. Onboard voltage translation circuitry supports 3.3V and 5V operating levels, helping improve compatibility with common development platforms. Online development resources and example programs are available for Raspberry Pi, for Raspberry Pi Pico, for Arduino and ESP32 platforms. These resources help users quickly test LCD display, touch input and embedded GUI functions. The onboard TF card slot can be used for storing images, interface resources or project files, making the module suitable for embedded GUI, HMI prototypes, control panels, data visualization, educational electronics and custom development projects.
