The terminations utilize a unique ultrasonic welding process that fuses the copper wire directly to the brass banana or spade connector, with no intervening metal, compression sleeves, or setscrews. Star quad cable configuration reduces the electromagnetic field around the cable for minimized interaction with other system cabling. Assembled in Seattle, Washington, using proprietary connectors and a Sonobond welder. Locking banana plugs provide optimal engagement between plug and binding post; advancing the locking collar tightens the splines to the inside of the post
