1) When the operating frequency of this amplifier is less than 500 MHz, it exhibits excellent gain flatness. With careful adjustment, the gain deviation can be less than 1 dB. The higher the frequency, the better the gain consistency.
2) The lower limit of the working frequency of this amplifier is determined by the input and output capacitors. The default value is 0.1uF and it can operate up to 0.1MHz. The input and output capacitors can be appropriately increased to extend the lower frequency limit. For example, when the capacitance is 10uF, it can operate up to 5KHz. For detailed calculations, it is necessary to note that the input and output impedance is 50 ohms. The capacitance value required for calculation should be determined, and at the same time, the decoupling and voltage stabilization of the power supply should be enhanced.
3) When the supply voltage varies between 5V and 8V, it can function as a variable gain amplifier. The gain increases as the supply voltage rises. It is highly suitable for RF receiving front-end circuits. By controlling the supply voltage with a DA, the gain of the amplifier can be adjusted, achieving automatic gain control.
