The four-arm helical structure antenna is composed of four helical arms, each with a length that is an integer multiple of the quarter-wavelength. The current amplitudes at the feed ends of the four helical arms are equal, and the phases differ by 90° successively. It has a heart-shaped radiation pattern, excellent front-to-back ratio, and outstanding wide-beam circular polarization characteristics, making it highly suitable for use as a receiving antenna for satellite positioning systems.
