Conventional star-quad configuration: two connectors at each end, connected to a pair of opposite-side conductors. This cable is also offered in bi-wired configurations. The terminations employ a distinct ultrasonic welding method that bonds the copper wire directly to the brass banana or spade connector, without any intervening metal, compression sleeves, or setscrews. Star-quad cable configuration diminishes the EM field surrounding the cable, reducing interaction with other system cabling. Assembled in Seattle, Washington, using proprietary connectors and a Sonobond welder. The locking banana plugs ensure excellent engagement between plug and binding post; advancing the locking collar tightens the splines to the inside of the post
