- Q1: Can the system work without the network?
- A1: Yes, it can work without the network or router, if you don't expect remote access.
- Q2: What if the HDD is filled up? Do I need to manually delete the videos?
- A2: You can turn on the "Overwrite" button so the new recordings will automatically cover the old ones when HDD gets full.
- Q3: How can I add an external hard drive?
- A3: There's one SATA port inside and one e-SATA behind the NVR. You can add an external HDD (up to 6TB) via the port and provide an extra power supply for it to enlarge the capacity.
- Q4: When I tried to connect my IP cameras from other brands, why don't they display?
- A4: Reolink cameras works perfectly with Reolink NVRs. But it is not recommended to add third-party cameras to Reolink NVRs since there may involve compatibility problems. That's why some of the functions don't work properly.
