Thermal Grizzly's DeltaMate Female to Female Passthrough Fitting in black carries a water-cooling loop through a panel, such as a case wall or a PCI slot bracket.
The black chrome-plated fitting is used in a pass-through opening, as a simple adapter that enables the connection of two male-thread fittings through the panel, one on each side. Many cases have pass-through openings of this type, usually on the rear, and where none are present they can be retrofitted in the form of a PCI slot bracket. Such openings are designed to connect two chambers within a case or to enable the use of an external radiator.
The diameter of the opening can be anywhere from 18 to 22 mm, and the panel can be up to 5.5 mm thick. Configurable spacers take up the difference, which gives a clean installation across a wide range of different panel thicknesses. Like every DeltaMate fitting, it has a robust construction that allows installation using an 8 mm hex key. Because the passthrough is female on both ends, it needs two male-thread fittings to complete the run, for example a pair of DeltaMate 16/10 compression fittings.
The DeltaMate line is Thermal Grizzly's set of water-cooling hose fittings for the individual components of a custom water-cooling system. Thermal Grizzly describes them as precision-machined from brass, in its usual quality. Brass, an alloy of copper and zinc, offers the advantage of being anodically compatible with other metals while also being harder and more corrosion-resistant than copper. The design is the same across the range: all DeltaMate ports share a uniform outer diameter, which enables what Thermal Grizzly calls completely seamless integration of the individual products.
