General information
DeltaMate fittings are Thermal Grizzly's water cooling connectors, designed for the individual components of a custom water cooling loop. They are precisely machined from brass, as expected from Thermal Grizzly quality. As an alloy of copper and zinc, brass is harder and more corrosion-resistant than copper, while it offers the advantage of being anodically compatible with other metals. The sealing rings (O-rings) are made from EPDM (ethylene propylene diene rubber), a highly elastic material which is resistant to ozone and UV radiation. The fittings are coated with matte black chromium, which Thermal Grizzly calls a premium finish that is also easy to clean.
Tube installation
The HT14 fitting in black is designed for tubes (hard tubes) made of rigid plastics or metals. Thermal Grizzly built it for ease of tube measuring and installation. For this, the tube is mounted on top of the fitting but does not penetrate into it. The flat base enables tubing to be installed from any direction with complete visibility, and a custom O-ring with a high surface area securely grips the tubing with high retention force. The fitting is only for hard tubes with a 14 mm outer diameter. For 16 mm hard tubes use the HT16 6 pack.
Fit in the loop
The robust design of the DeltaMate fittings allows them to be installed using an 8 mm hex key. The compact overall dimensions facilitate installation in almost any watercooling loop. The outer diameter is uniform and consistent with all DeltaMate fittings, such as the 90° rotary and the MF14 extender, which ensures completely seamless integration of the individual components. A part with two ports takes two fittings, so the 6 pack covers three such parts.
