Watercool HEATKILLER Tube Reservoir Basic Mount (WAT-0017)

A reservoir mount for Watercool's HEATKILLER Tube series: two black POM (acetal) mounts that slide onto the reservoir's struts and screw to the case wall through an M4 thread. The Watercool HEATKILLER® Tube - Basic Mounting Kit (30236) comes with decoupling modules for vibration dampening.

How it mounts

Watercool says using the mounts could not be easier. Just take the top off the reservoir, slide each mount onto the struts and move it to the desired position. The lateral countersunk screws then fix them in place; keep these screws loose enough while sliding so they do not scratch the struts. Put the top back on when both mounts sit where you want them.

This kit has an M4 thread on the back of the mount, so you can screw the mount straight to the case wall or any other flat surface. A vibration-dampening montage is possible too, because the decoupling modules are contained in the scope of delivery.

Options

With optional adapters the reservoir can be fixed into the mounting holes of 120 x 120 mm or 140 x 140 mm fans. That way you can attach the reservoir to a radiator, a HTSF2 series one for example. The adapters are the 120mm Fan Adapter pair and the 140mm Fan Adapter pair, each held to the mount by two M4 screws. Watercool also has an adapter on offer (30235) that mounts the reservoir to a radiator from the MO-RA3 series.
