Pros: Installs as easy as any SATA device would. Very fast like it's supposed to be. It simply works.

Cons: None really.

Other Thoughts: I'm using this in an external SATA enclosure. it's nice because it makes no noise and can handle excessive bouncing around. Also generates next to no heat.

Pros: Very fast Win7 startup - 15 secs from turning my laptop (Sony VGN-FW139E - 4yrs old) to the login window. Windows Expereince Index went from 5.9 to 7.8 for primary harddrive score. Photoshop CS6 loads in less than 2 seconds!

Cons: At this time - none

Other Thoughts: The CPU is an Intel Duo core P8400 @ 2.26 GHz
with 4 GB of memory (uses 3 GB) w/original SATA controller (not SATAII)
Shut down takes 6 secs.

I did load Win8 test copy and it did about the same as with Win7 - Had the same index score but I did notice that the scores now range up to 9.9 in Win8.

I did buy this unit from Newegg on the day of the rebate!

Pros: I just got this.
I am impressed so far.

Cons: I don't have any. I will revise my review IF I have any after using it for a few weeks.

Other Thoughts: I depend on reviews from people who have used products. A one egg review for a product you didn't get because it sold out?! Do you think it's fair to review a product you couldn't get? Really?

Pros: + Fast (boots up in under ~15 seconds)

Cons: - No mounting bracket.

Other Thoughts: Bought it on the Columbus day sale with the $15 off promo and $30 MIR so this thing was a steal. I've had it for about a week, no problems so far.

Pros: Cheap for the specs

Cons: You get what you pay for... no wait, I definitely did not get my money's worth.

Other Thoughts: Installed, and ran great for a few weeks, and then my computer started blue-screening every 5 to 10 minutes... hard drive failure. Tried updating firmware and drivers; tired a fresh windows install, all to no avail, and with the return policy, I'm now the dissatisfied owner of an expensive block of plastic.

Pros: Very fast sequential write speed (435 MB/sec)

Cons: Sequential read speed was just so-so (310 MB/sec)

Other Thoughts: I installed the drive on a MSI Z77MA-G45 mainboard with an I7-3770k and used the Passmark disk benchmark test.

My Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST31500341AS results were:
Read - 111 MB/sec
Write - 105 MB/sec

I thought the SSD read would be faster than the writes. Maybe there's something I can configure to improve the read performance. Maybe try a different test suite.

Pros: would have been a nice price...but not available,, why advertise itas on sale?

Cons: happens too frequently.. get an e-mail for a rocking deal only to find it is not actually in stock and available...
