Sixth Avenue Electronics opened its first store on Manhattan's Sixth Avenue in New York City in 1984. The company opened its first suburban store in 1989, on Route 4 in Paramus, New Jersey, after which it began to evolve into a chain of upscale suburban showrooms, moving its corporate headquarters to Springfield in 1991. In the past few years Sixth Avenue Electronics has been concentrating on building a large internet presence, bringing the best deals in electronics to the worldwide online shopping market.

RMA Policy

All returns must include the following or it will be rejected and returned back to you at your cost:
. Product purchased from 6AVE
. Original Condition, no physical damage (exclude damages sustained during transportation)
. All accessories, manuals, warranty registration card, etc.
. Original UPC/serial# intact on product and on retail package (Proof of Purchase)
. Valid RMA number obtained from website or customer service for the correct product and order
Additional Return Requirements and Policy:
1. An RMA number must be requested within thirty (30) calendar days of the delivery date. Shipping charge is the cost of us sending the product to you and will not be refunded. Shipment received with visible damages must be reported to us within three (3) calendar days of the delivery date.
2. All returns with missing part(s) (including, but not limited to, accessories, manuals, warranty registration cards, original manufacturer packing materials and retail packaging) will not be processed until the part is received.
3. Customer is responsible for return shipping expenses unless otherwise explicitly states on the product. Replacements will be shipped at our expense.
4. Customer is required to ship the return products with sufficient shipping packaging and void fill material inside to prevent product from physically damaged during return transportation. Customer is responsible for any loss and damages in return shipping.
5. Upon our acceptance of the merchandise in like new condition in strict conformance with the basic criteria and standard returns policy, the purchase price will be credited to the credit card used for the original purchase.
6. Refund will be issued after our warehouse receives, inspects, and processes your return. 6AVE will refund back to your method of payment.

RMA instructions

When you return an item, you may see different return options available. To request:
1. Log onto your NeweggBusiness.com account. Select New RMA Request option under My Account. Find your order in order history.
2. Click Return an item from this order option to start.
3. Select the return type from Refund or Replace.
4. Select the item(s) you wish to continue.
5. Specify more details, including item quantity, and any additional comments or messages regarding your request before click SUBMIT button.
6. It will take up to 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry after Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry.
7. Once your request is approved, you will be provided with detailed instruction through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before shipping your return merchandise back.
8. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.

4 out of 5 eggs I paid for a new camera, but got a used broken one.

Stay away from 6Ave. I bought and paid for a new camera, but they sent be a used broken one. The "New" camera I received was in an open box that was damaged. The shrink wrap was missing. All of the accessories were there, but they were no longer wrapped and packaged like a new product would be. After charging the totally dead batteries, I turned on the camera, it extended the zoom lens part way out and got stuck. It would not extend or retract. The error message "Turn power off then on." shows up everytime I turn on the camera. I turn it off and back on and the same thing happens. I sent a message to 6Ave asking them to please exchange the camera as soon as possible because I needed it because we were leaving on vacation. Three days later I got a response that said they were sorry to hear the camera did not work, but they do not process exchanges. They recommended I return the camera for a refund. Right now I have a very low opinion of 6Ave because it appears that they sell returned products and sell them as new.

The product came without factory stickers. The case is scratched, as if not new. two additional batteries are different, but it does not work and does not hold a charge. The seller refused to pay compensation. I do not advise

Ordered Apple Airtags and the shipping envelope arrived opened with no product inside! Seller asked for a police report when the merchandise was clearly lost or stolen in transit.

They sent out earphones in the worst packaging imaginable and it seems the contents fell out. Look through the reviews, Im not the first customer that fails to get their package and doesnt have immediate response from this seller. Newegg thankfully refunded me.

I knew this item was refurbished, so I understood when I received the item and slowly discovered that the product came with an accidentally non-compatible part. The seller offered the perfectly acceptable remedy of a return for refund, but I declined that option because had already set the device up and ordered the correct $60 part. I mentioned this in my communications to the company and they credited me the $60 to offset my expense. I would say that I am kind of glad this happened so I could have a wonderful customer service experience. It really brightened my day. I would definitely purchase from them again.

Price is higher than MSRP however convenience of using Newegg made things nice Device was new and sealed in the box untouched. Rating 4.5 Eggs half an egg off for the price increase.

I cant believe this company charges a restocking fee and return shipping. I havent paid a restocking fee since the 90s. What a joke.
