Sixth Avenue Electronics opened its first store on Manhattan's Sixth Avenue in New York City in 1984. The company opened its first suburban store in 1989, on Route 4 in Paramus, New Jersey, after which it began to evolve into a chain of upscale suburban showrooms, moving its corporate headquarters to Springfield in 1991. In the past few years Sixth Avenue Electronics has been concentrating on building a large internet presence, bringing the best deals in electronics to the worldwide online shopping market.

RMA Policy

All returns must include the following or it will be rejected and returned back to you at your cost:
. Product purchased from 6AVE
. Original Condition, no physical damage (exclude damages sustained during transportation)
. All accessories, manuals, warranty registration card, etc.
. Original UPC/serial# intact on product and on retail package (Proof of Purchase)
. Valid RMA number obtained from website or customer service for the correct product and order
Additional Return Requirements and Policy:
1. An RMA number must be requested within thirty (30) calendar days of the delivery date. Shipping charge is the cost of us sending the product to you and will not be refunded. Shipment received with visible damages must be reported to us within three (3) calendar days of the delivery date.
2. All returns with missing part(s) (including, but not limited to, accessories, manuals, warranty registration cards, original manufacturer packing materials and retail packaging) will not be processed until the part is received.
3. Customer is responsible for return shipping expenses unless otherwise explicitly states on the product. Replacements will be shipped at our expense.
4. Customer is required to ship the return products with sufficient shipping packaging and void fill material inside to prevent product from physically damaged during return transportation. Customer is responsible for any loss and damages in return shipping.
5. Upon our acceptance of the merchandise in like new condition in strict conformance with the basic criteria and standard returns policy, the purchase price will be credited to the credit card used for the original purchase.
6. Refund will be issued after our warehouse receives, inspects, and processes your return. 6AVE will refund back to your method of payment.

RMA instructions

When you return an item, you may see different return options available. To request:
1. Log onto your NeweggBusiness.com account. Select New RMA Request option under My Account. Find your order in order history.
2. Click Return an item from this order option to start.
3. Select the return type from Refund or Replace.
4. Select the item(s) you wish to continue.
5. Specify more details, including item quantity, and any additional comments or messages regarding your request before click SUBMIT button.
6. It will take up to 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry after Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry.
7. Once your request is approved, you will be provided with detailed instruction through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before shipping your return merchandise back.
8. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.

The company is great and communicates great, but I do have to send a less than favorable rating for the order. I ordered and paid for a new controller, but received either a returned controller with a stick issue, or a badly refurbished one. The return couldn't be processed since I missed the window due to my own issues, and they were great when I reached out; however, I should have received a brand new controller, not one that I now have to go personally refurbish.

I would not recommend purchasing anything from 6ave as they are not an authorized seller of merchandise. They will not price match, they will sell items for more than the manufacturers pricing. Make sure to purchase from a retail supplier who actually works with manufacturers and their pricing. Price on manufacturers website dropped within 7 days of purchasing through 6ave. 6ave would not price match the manufacturers price. I will not buy from 6ave again. They offer a refund but that requires shipping and for original packaging and wrapping to be in perfect condition. Should just honor prices that manufacturers are selling their items at.

I do not recommend this seller. According to the ad on newegg, they had 3 new from $#### and 1 refurb from $####...I clicked on the cheapest "NEW" camera body only. The camera came in a beat up old "kit" box that originally had a camera and lens with only what would come in a body only camera box. Luckily the camera is in really good condition and may or may not be new, and I checked the shutter count with at test picture, it came up as 4, so it was at least tested. The serial number on the beat down box and camera match, so is this just a parted out new kit? Was it a refurb? There's no telling, customer service has not reached back out to me yet. It registered just fine on nikonusa.com so hopefully I didn't get hosed. After getting this camera and seeing others with the same issue, I will never purchase from them again, and cannot recommend anyone else does.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SELLER. I ordered A NEW CANON 90D and was sent an Open Box item, the camera box was had damage, the item was not sealed, and had obvious signs of handling.
