RMA Policy

Please read the content below before placing an order.
The return policy for the return reasons of wrong purchase and no longer needed:
1. Buyer has to be responsible for the return shipping.
2. All accessories must be shipped back with the item, otherwise the cost will be deducted from the refund.
3. The shipping fee for buyer getting the item will not be refundable. And One-day, Two-day and Expedited shipping cost will also not be refundable.
4. A 10% of restocking fee will be deducted from the refund, because we have to pay commission fee and sale tax even for a returned order.

All returns must include the following or it will be rejected and returned back to you at your cost:
. Product purchased from Alex Computers
. Original Condition, no physical damage (exclude damages sustained during transportation)
. All accessories, manuals, warranty registration card, etc.
. Original UPC/serial# intact on product and on retail package (Proof of Purchase)
. Valid RMA number obtained from website or customer service for the correct product and order
Additional Return Requirements and Policy:
1. An RMA number must be requested within thirty (30) calendar days of the delivery date. Shipping charge is the cost of us sending the product to you and will not be refunded. No restocking fee will be applied on return for DOA/Defective and shipping damaged product. Shipment received with visible damages must be reported to us within seven (7) calendar days of the delivery date. In the event an item is sold without shipping charge, Alex Computers will refund the amount of sale.
2. All returns with missing part(s) (including, but not limited to, accessories, manuals, warranty registration cards, original manufacturer packing materials and retail packaging) will not be processed until the part is received.
3. Customer is responsible for return shipping expenses unless otherwise explicitly states on the product. Replacements will be shipped at our expense.
4. Customer is required to ship the return products with sufficient shipping packaging and void fill material inside to prevent product from physically damaged during return transportation. Customer is responsible for any loss and damages in return shipping.
5. Upon our acceptance of the merchandise in like new condition in strict conformance with the basic criteria and standard returns policy, the purchase price will be credited to the credit card used for the original purchase.
6. Refund will be issued after our warehouse receives, inspects, and processes your return. Alex Computers will refund back to your method of payment.

RMA instructions

When you return an item, you may see different return options available. To request:
1. Log onto your NeweggBusiness.com account. Select New RMA Request option under My Account. Find your order in order history.
2. Click Return an item from this order option to start.
3. Select the return type from Refund or Replace.
4. Select the item(s) you wish to continue.
5. Specify more details, including item quantity, and any additional comments or messages regarding your request before click SUBMIT button.
6. It will take up to 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry after Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry.
7. Once your request is approved, you will be provided with detailed instruction through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before shipping your return merchandise back.
8. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.

Bought a used motherboard. Seller provided extensive details and pictures about the condition of the CPU slot pins, apparently because customers bend them up with sloppy handling. I had no problems with the board I received. Installed a CPU that runs at 3.2MHz and overclocked to 4.2MHz without problem, so the board is still in good shape (electronically), even though it was used. Board also showed no signs of other damage nor any wear and tear.

Seller was really easy to discuss issue with and tried to help, but ultimately I had a bad CPU and had to return the mobo and the process was very easy and painless. Will happily do business with them again and newegg.

This jerk put hardened wax paper underneath the i/o shield, it bent pins in middle of i/o port, when i received motherboard it never once booted and immediatly hit debug mode. the picture i got from seller he had multiple ram sims and multiple processors scattered about with mobo laying out in front of keyboard they were "working" at. I did not realize this until after motherboard failed to boot with 1 ram sim, processor, and cpu fan. After 40,000 threads/forums later i found that these MSI z97 motherboards are known for horrible failure rates i pulled my 4790k to find pins in middle of socket were bent. I immediately put return label in, still waiting on my refund.

I was very pleased with my order of a used mini-itx board to replace my ancient one that died. These folks made sure to send photos of it running in setup and a nice shot of the cpu socket showing that was not damaged. They packed it really well and it was delivered pretty fast. I'd definitely go back to them for more of my parts needs.

The package included a letter with an embedded picture of what the seller claimed to be a picture of the CPU socket as it was sent, with no bent pins. However there was a bent pin on the board itself. Upon closer inspection, the plastic molding for the socket is obviously different in the picture compared to the actual socket. The seller did not take a picture, much less inspect or refurbish the board, because it would not have booted in this condition. Luckily I have the tools and experience to make the needed pin repairs and was able to fix it. But folks should be aware of who they are dealing with. Pictures available upon request.

Fantastic seller. Sent me pictures of the motherboard working before sending and I didn't even ask, though I had seen where many others said the same thing. I wasn't sure if was a "on request" type of situation but sure enough it wasn't the seller sent the pictures to me without my requesting them and even made sure my address was correct. I would definitely recommend this seller to others and I would do business with him again. The motherboard was in great shape and packaged very tightly so as not to wiggle. It was bubble wrapped with a lot of bubble wrap. And then it was inside a nice plastic envelope type thing underneath the bubble wrap. Can't say enough about them. Thanks for the motherboard! It's working great and finally got me back up and running again. He also had instructions on installing the CPU and a cap covering the CPU pins. He also sent a picture beforehand of the CPU pins showing none were bent. Fantastic business, very much appreciated!
