How to bend with it

Simply insert the silicone inside the HardTube, which Alphacool describes as an acrylic tube, and heat the desired location. Thanks to the extremely heat-resistant silicone, the pipe can then be bent without the curved point kinking or buckling. After cooling, the insert can be easily removed by pulling it out again.

What a run needs

The insert has to match the inner diameter of the tube, so check that figure on the tubing you bend. Alphacool makes it available for HardTubes with 10mm, 12mm and 13mm inner diameter, each in a 30cm length for curves in short pipes and a 100cm length for curves in longer pipes. This is the 100 cm one; the 30cm insert is the shorter of the two, and the 100cm insert for 10mm inner diameter is listed separately.
