RMA Policy

All returns must include the following or it will be rejected and returned back to you at your cost:
. Product purchased from Computer Nerd
. Original Condition, no physical damage (exclude damages sustained during transportation)
. All accessories, manuals, warranty registration card, etc.
. Original UPC/serial# intact on product and on retail package (Proof of Purchase)
. Valid RMA number obtained from website or customer service for the correct product and order
Additional Return Requirements and Policy:
1. An RMA number must be requested within thirty (30) calendar days of the order date. Shipping charge is the cost of us sending the product to you and will not be refunded. No restocking fee will be applied on return for DOA/Defective and shipping damaged product. Shipment received with visible damages must be reported to us within seven (7) calendar days of the delivery date. In the event an item is sold with "free shipping", Craving Savings will refund the amount of sale.
2. All returns with missing part(s) (including, but not limited to, accessories, manuals, warranty registration cards, original manufacturer packing materials and retail packaging) will not be processed until the part is received.
3. Customer is responsible for return shipping expenses unless otherwise explicitly states on the product. Replacements will be shipped at our expense.
4. Customer is required to ship the return products with sufficient shipping packaging and void fill material inside to prevent product from physically damaged during return transportation. Customer is responsible for any loss and damages in return shipping.
5. Upon our acceptance of the merchandise in like new condition in strict conformance with the basic criteria and standard returns policy, the purchase price will be credited to the credit card used for the original purchase.
6. Refund will be issued after our warehouse receives, inspects, and processes your return. Computer Nerd will refund back to your method of payment.
7. If an address change occurred between the time frame of the original order date and a replacement/repair we will need to be informed via email by the customer for us to send to the new address. If we are not, the replacement/repair will be sent to the address that we have on file at current.
8. If any changes are made to the Operating System (OS) of the unit this will void the warranty on the unit and we will no longer service, the unit. This includes upgrading/downgrading the OS, changing the OS, or attempting to have the unit dual boot between multiple OS’s.
9. We cover all new customized units for 1 year from the date of purchase, please contact our company for any assistance that is needed with the unit first.
10. If a unit has been received with physical damage the damage must be reported to our company within 7 days of receiving. Also, images of the damage on the unit, the shipping box, and the manufacturer's box will need to be provided to our company. Do not return the unit until given instructions to do so. Failure to following this will result in either a restocking fee or rejection of the return.
11. All Returns must be shipped in a shipping box and not just by using the manufacturer's box of the unit.
12. If any repairs are attempted or performed by an outside source aside from our Certified Technician within our company this will void the warranty coverage on the unit.
13. Do not open the unit unless otherwise instructed to by one of our company’s personnel or Certified Technicians for troubleshooting as this will void our warranty coverage.

RMA instructions

When you return an item, you may see different return options available. To request:
1. Log onto your NeweggBusiness.com account. Select New RMA Request option under My Account. Find your order in order history.
2. Click Return an item from this order option to start.
3. Select the return type from Refund or Replace.
4. Select the item(s) you wish to continue.
5. Specify more details, including item quantity, and any additional comments or messages regarding your request before click SUBMIT button.
6. It will take up to 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry after Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry.
7. Once your request is approved, you will be provided with detailed instruction through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before shipping your return merchandise back.
8. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.

Everything works super well, Im able to run all the games Ive played on max graphics with no issue, the battery is not more than 5 hours like advertised, not even when I just have the screen on and no apps, but thats to be expected from a gaming laptop

I could not imagine a seller I'd recommend less. If I could give them a -5 rating, I would. I ordered a nearly $2,000 laptop from them. On 06/21, the day it was scheduled to ship, an origin scan and a pickup scan were shown on the tracking with a delivery date of 06/27. Not an unreasonable timeframe, so no real issues there. Fast forward to 06/27 and there have been zero updates on the tracking. Only the origin scan and the pickup scan, so it's clear the package was either lost before the second transit scan or it was never actually shipped out of the building. I reached out to Newegg first, and they reached out to the seller and put in an RMA. The seller declined the RMA as the package hadn't been returned to their facility. Of course it hadn't, the package was clearly lost, so I reached out to the seller directly to clear up any confusion. When I pointed out that it was obviously lost or it never moved in the first place, as tracking doesn't take six full days to update unless something has gone wrong, I was told that it was "in transit". After I pointed out it was only "in transit" because an origin scan had been created and that it would be "in transit" for months in that state, Computer Nerd once again refused to do anything, forcing me to reach out to Newegg again. Here's a tip for a seller: resolve your own issues quickly and take accountability for your shipping choices. When I reached out to Newegg again, they had put in for a replacement due to the product being lost/not being received. Well, Computer Nerd opted to reject that one again due to an "investigation", which frankly, isn't my problem. Investigate all you want, but as a seller, your job is to get me what I paid for, so don't make me wait through yours and UPS' bloated and slow "investigation" processes. And I only learned that it was rejected because I had to reach out to Newegg again and now they're the ones who are doing the legwork for this dumpster fire of a seller. Who knows if I'll ever actually get what I paid for. So if you actually want to receive the products you spend nearly two grand on, I'd recommend finding a different one, because Computer Nerd definitely isn't capable of delivering even the most basic Point A to Point B task.
