Return Policy

Standard Return Policy

  • Return for refund within: 30 days
  • Return for replacement within: 30 days
  • Restocking Fee: 15.00%

RMA Policy

Unopened items are eligible for a full refund if the return is received within 30 days of purchase
Opened items, returned for a refund, will be charged a restocking fee of 15%
Although we do not anticipate any items arriving D.O.A, we will exchange any items reported as D.O.A within the first 30 days. All D.O.A. Returns are fully tested upon receipt and if found functional, a 15% restocking fee will apply.

All returns require all original packaging and accessories.

No returns are accepted when there is physical damage, misuse, or damage caused due to use.

All Returns are verified by serial numbers on all components and systems.

Return Instructions

1. Log onto your Newegg.com account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.

RMA instructions

When you return an item, you may see different return options available. To request:
1. Log onto your NeweggBusiness.com account. Select New RMA Request option under My Account. Find your order in order history.
2. Click Return an item from this order option to start.
3. Select the return type from Refund or Replace.
4. Select the item(s) you wish to continue.
5. Specify more details, including item quantity, and any additional comments or messages regarding your request before click SUBMIT button.
6. It will take up to 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry after Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry.
7. Once your request is approved, you will be provided with detailed instruction through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before shipping your return merchandise back.
8. I ordered the NAS, and it was configured, tested, and shipped so quickly it arrived a day earlier than they said it would. Zero problems, even after running almost nonstop while transferring 10+ TB of data to it. I cannot describe how pleased I am with their work. I will definitely be doing business with them again.

CustomTechSales delivered my Synology 220+ within 4 days of my order. Speedy order fulfillment and delivery. They have been very responsive when one of the hard drives was not recognized by the NAS. A new hard drive shipped the same day. Highly recommend!

Overall the product was received quickly and mostly as described. There are a few minor problems, but all things considered nothing that's a show stopper: 1) No proof of testing was included... no Crystal Disk Mark or similar results of any kind. So for all I know, things could have not been tested. Since things setup fine and it appears to be running well, I'm not overly concerned but it is a slight negative. 2) Only serial number provided was for the main NAS housing. So ended up needing to disassemble everything and reassemble it anyway... for drives, cache modules, and RAM serials. Again, not a big deal, just one of those things you'd think would be included to prevent the whole disassemble / reassemble thing in the first place. 3) Shipping could have been better. Luckily item arrived earlier than expected on a day when I was home. Otherwise it would have arrive a day later when I would not have been home. And since Fedex would not let me have it held at a Fedex location or sent to a Secure Locker for pickup prior to delivery, I would have had to wait for a failed delivery attempt to do either of those because of how the seller shipped it.

Only have had it for about a week so far its been great, the write/Read cache was a nice bonus for speed. Will Prob add 10Ge soon the new box being used so much.
