Colbey Technologies was founded on the premise of providing technology equipment to wholesale and retail customers that is affordable, reliable and functional for each user. We are a computer technology, asset recovery, and recycling business that works with medium to large businesses as well as leasing companies that allow us to sell technology equipment at a significant saving from new retail or refurbishing companies.

In 2011, we opened our first retail store and renamed it to Fairport Computers to keep the familiarity of being local in Fairport. Utilizing the asset recovery and business integration side of the business allows us to provide better solutions at a lower cost in both sales and service. We work with businesses when they upgrade and assist them in the install and recovery in providing technology equipment to consumers at low cost.

We offer Computer Solutions at a low cost and stand behind our work. We are Apple and Windows Specialists with over 15 years of Experience in Computer Sales and Service.

  • Return for refund within: 30 days

RMA Policy

Fairport Computers Return Policies.
• All returns must include the following or it may be rejected and returned back to you:
• Product purchased from Fairport Computers
• Original Condition, no physical damage (exclude damages sustained during transportation)
• All accessories, manuals, warranty registration card, etc.
• Original UPC/serial number intact on product and on retail package (Proof of Purchase)
• All return request for refund or replacement can be submitted via Newegg Return Portal with valid return reason selected within thirty (30) calendar days from the delivery date and valid RMA numbers will be provided by Newegg

Return Requirements and Policy:
1. All return or replacement request will be processed within 2 business days after returned item is received by Fairport Computers
2. Shipment received with visible damages must be reported to us within Fifteen (15) calendar days of the delivery date. In the event an item is sold without shipping charge, Fairport Computers will refund the amount of sale.
3. All returns with missing part(s) (including, but not limited to, accessories, manuals, warranty registration cards, original manufacturer packing materials and retail packaging) will not be processed until the part is received.
4. Customer is responsible for return shipping expenses for products over 50lbs unless product is defective, damaged, or not as advertised. Replacements will be shipped at our expense.
5. Customer is required to ship the return products with sufficient shipping packaging and void fill material inside to prevent product from physically damaged during return transportation or customer will be responsible for any loss and damages in return shipping. Any loss or damages during the return shipping due to insufficient shipping packaging may result the return to be rejected back to you or charges to be applied to your refund determined by Fairport Computers.
6. Upon our acceptance of the merchandise in like new condition in strict conformance with the basic criteria and standard returns policy, the purchase price will be credited to the credit card used for the original purchase.
7. Refund will be issued after our warehouse receives, inspects, and processes your return. Fairport Computers will refund back to your method of payment.

Restocking Fees and Return Shipping Labels:
Fairport Computers can charge a Restocking Fee if all the following conditions are met:
a.The sold item condition is New (NOT Refurbished)
b.The return is due to the buyer’s personal reason (e.g., No Longer Needed)
c.The item has been opened
d.The product belongs to the following categories: VGA, HD, Motherboard (MB), TV, or Projector
The restocking fee may range between 0-15% at seller's discretion for any qualifying returns.
Return shipping labels within return policy period are free for returns under 50lbs, damaged or defective products, wrong product was sent to you, or the product did not match what was shown on website.
For returns over 50lbs due to the buyer's personal return reason (e.g., No Longer Needed), the buyer is responsible for the return shipping cost.

RMA instructions

When you return an item, you may see different return options available. To request:
1. Log onto your NeweggBusiness.com account. Select New RMA Request option under My Account. Find your order in order history.
2. Click Return an item from this order option to start.
3. Select the return type from Refund or Replace.
4. Select the item(s) you wish to continue.
5. Specify more details, including item quantity, and any additional comments or messages regarding your request before click SUBMIT button.
6. It will take up to 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry after Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry.
7. Once your request is approved, you will be provided with detailed instruction through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before shipping your return merchandise back.
8. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.

4 out of 5 eggs Pleased with the computer, There was confusion regarding the order-shipping.

For unknown reason there was confusion with the order shipping. as weeks went by waiting for verification that the item was shipped. It finally arrived later than expected because of this. The wife is happy with her new computer.

All in one CPU was as described including software, etc. Stand was missing a couple of screws but they sent them right away after I contacted them, so very good customer service. Would buy from them again.

The AIOs I ordered were delivered on-time and very well packaged. The PCs were clean and unmaked on the outside and ready to rock on the inside. Just unbox, plug in and GO! I will definately buy from Fairport Computers again!

4 out of 5 eggs !!!WARNING!!! I will not buy from again.

This computer was delivered almost a week late. I contacted the seller to ask about it and all i got was we are to busy. I have people that rely on my punctuality and my reputation has been tarnished. There was no contact with me that it was going to be late until it was too late and I contacted them first. This seller has proven to me they are untrue to good customer sevice. The product is refurbished and a few blemishes can be expected. This product came with a broken plastic on the base with many blemishes. I am guessing if you complain to this seller they dig to the bottom of the barrel to get you the worst refurbished item I have ever seen. The repair for this cost me extra time and money. No compensation and no real care for my reputation. Very unsatisfied with this seller, poor product, customer service, and delivery time.

They sent me a defective product that failed after only a few months of use. And when I contacted them for help, they did not reply. Totally unacceptable.

The AIO arrived with no keyboard or mouse, with no documentation, and in a cubed box. The PC works great and has good looks and appeal.

I would definitely recommend this seller to other people. My order turned into two (2) shipments. Both shipments arrived the same day within a couple of hours from the first to the second shipment. The boxes and packing were all first rate and protected the hardware; so that, no damage occurred during shipping.

Chrome Books are great very nice looking and works great. I am a PC Tech & electronics repair. My Grand Nice & Nephew need it laptops for school I went and bought for them. Well little did I know they get school to provide them to them. So I thought I am stuck ow to have to return Items. Decided my Mom need one so gave to her (She very happy) I decided I just keep other myself good decision on my behalf really did not want deal with extra expense to send back & trip to delivery place. Glad I kept them.
