Odyssey Computers is an independent computer store central Maryland, serving customers since 1996. We specialize and lead in computer repair, service, networking, malware removal, data recovery and sales. We keep many older and hard-to-find parts in stock, as well as provide services for older, "out of date" equipment. Our small, knowledgeable staff has decades of combined training and experience and our service department is ready to tackle any problem from hardware to software, from networks to component level repair. We pride ourselves on providing personal, customized solutions for each and every one of our customers. For us, it is not about the final sale but rather about catering to specific needs. Electronics: Electronics products can be returned if postmarked within 30 days of the delivery of the original shipment to the buyer.
*We can not Guarantee Delivery of Electronics to USPS P.O.Boxes , Due to Battery restrictions . If a machine is returned for this reason we will ask for an alternate address or offer a partial refund of the total amount Minus shipping.*

If the item is shipped as New or Used and is defective or damaged upon receipt, the buyer must report the defect/damage to you within 14 days of receipt and make return arrangements.
Warranties Provided by Odyssey Computers Are for Hardware ONLY Copies of the Hardware warranty is shipped with the packing slip . This Warranty does not cover the Software on the Machine .Machines Returned that require Software Repair are subject to Software repair Fees

RMA instructions

When you return an item, you may see different return options available. To request:
1. Log onto your NeweggBusiness.com account. Select New RMA Request option under My Account. Find your order in order history.
2. Click Return an item from this order option to start.
3. Select the return type from Refund or Replace.
4. Select the item(s) you wish to continue.
5. Specify more details, including item quantity, and any additional comments or messages regarding your request before click SUBMIT button.
6. It will take up to 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry after Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry.
7. Once your request is approved, you will be provided with detailed instruction through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before shipping your return merchandise back.
8. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.

4 out of 5 eggs Bought a "Refurbished" Laptop, Got "Used" One

The laptop has following issue. - Screen Bezel Cracked - Body has Gap Around Hinge - Third Party Replacement Battery - Low Battery Capacity (the work time is around 50% short from original spec) - No original box, no original paper - AC power cable was tie up with a rubber band just like an old retired AC power cable at your storage. The laptop is not "Refurbished", it just a withered "USED" laptop with some defects. But I would say their customer service is not bad.

There were a couple of issues with the delivery address resulted in a return of the product. However, it was shipped again and everything was as expected. Great site to shop.the agents are very helpful.

Had a small issue with (what I assume) was the battery of the refurbished laptop I received - which is no big deal, happens with used laptops! I reached out to Odyssey for help with the issue. They were very kind, had prompt responses, and helped me through what the problem could be. I ended up with a replacement laptop that works wonderfully and has no issues. Both packages also arrived on time and were well-packed. Would recommend! Very happy with my purchase and experience with them :)

They were prompt and kind but their product line is not up to par. They send a laptop which was dead on arrival. Then sent a replacement and it dies 4 days later.

This week I purchased a laptop for my wife because te one had bought last week was great. Grade A really means Grade A and delivery was on time. I would recommend them to everyone.

Computer was as described and on time. There was an issue with the USB WiFi Device. The company was responsive in emails and sent a new USB WiFi device that fixed the issue. I would do business with Odyssey Computers again.
