Overload Protection
The PoE+ port has the priority power supply function. Automatically detect required PoE+ power for your device and protect your non-PoE+ equipment from being damaged. When the remaining power is insufficient, the power supply of the high-priority port is used available to prevent the device from being overloaded and ensure the long-term security and stable operation.
Power Over Ethernet
16 JR-45PoE+ ports of the switch support power over Ethernet (PoE+) function. These PoE+ ports support power up to 300W and they can automatically detect and supply power with those IEEE 802.3af compliant powered devices.
Notice:This product requires power and ethernet, and provide power and internet for PoE+ devices.Do not support passive PoE+ device.It need to be plugged into nearby power outlets.
Two Modes
The switch can be used in two modes. You could change between normal and extended mode with a button at anytime.
In normal mode, 8 devices can be connected at the same time. Each device has a transmission rate between 10 and 100Mbps and a maximum distance of 300 feet.In extended mode, a maximum distance is 500 feet.
