This adapter connects four U. 2 NVMe SSDs through a single PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, requiring motherboard bifurcation support (x4x4x4x4). Delivers full x4 bandwidth per drive (~ 3.9GB /s each) without a PLX switch. Includes four SFF-8643 to U. 2 cables and supports hot-swap. Features passive cooling and draws power solely from PCIe slot. Perfect for workstations/servers with bifurcation capability. Compatible with Windows/Linux. Includes full-height bracket.
Note: Requires motherboard with PCIe lane splitting (x4x4x4x4) enabled in BIOS.
