41": #1 MINI RESISTANCE BANDS

41" Band, Resistance Band, Pull-Up Band, Serious Steel Bands, Serious Steel, Bandbell, Band Sets

The Purple #1 band measures 1/2" wide, 4.5 mm thick and 41" in length. It offers resistance from 5-35 lbs.

This band is a great beginner band for resistance exercises that range from bicep curls, squats or even overhead shoulder press. The #1 is also great if you are looking to do speed work by adding the band to your bench press, deadlift or squats. Serious Steel Bands are a perfect tool to help you with your pull ups, dips or muscle-ups. One important thing to remember about using bands for pull-up assistance is that you can secure the band under your feet or under your knee. Stretching the band to different lengths gives you different levels of assistance with the same band. Utilizing different tensions levels will help you reach your goals faster!

Serious Steel has been the #1 trusted band on for over a decade. Our proprietary 15-layer manufacturing process creates a band that is stronger, more durable, stretches farther, holds tension better and is less likely to snap than the competitors.

Serious Steel has always provided layered bands, but over the last couple years - many other brands have started promoting and selling "layered" bands. This is just putting lipstick on a pig. They are still a lower quality latex, often not continuous layers (each layer is independent from the other rather than being a single piece of latex) or they are only 5-7 layers. Serious Steel bands are 15-layers and the feeling is noticeable immediately upon your first use.

Serious Steel bands are trusted by fitness professionals, physical therapists, college strength programs, professional athletes and professional sports teams around the world.

Banded Barbell Training

  • Banded Bench: Add light resistance bands to build a bigger bench through accommodating resistance.
  • Banded Deadlifts & Rack Pulls: Banded pulls are a great way to train for locking out during your deadlift.
  • Banded Squats & Overhead Presses: Add resistance bands to your squat or press as an accessory movement to help work on speed and power.
  • Overload Assistance: Get a little extra help springing out of the hole by setting your bands up hitched to the top of the rack.
  • Increase Tension: If you find your bands are de-loading (losing tension) at the bottom of your movement wrap them around the barbell sleeve to add even greater resistance.
  • Never Use Bands Against Barbell Knurling: Barbell knurling can compromise the integrity of resistance bands, always use some sort of buffer to protect your bands from this potentially damaging surface.
