Does this caregiver pager require a monthly fee?
No monthly fee is required for basic app push notifications through the Smart Life/Tuya app. This system is designed for home caregiver alerts without a subscription-based monitoring service.
What if the SOS Button cannot make the Receiver alarm?
Please check the SOS Button to see if it has been paired with Receiver successfully.
Please check if the SOS Button is still powered(Press the SOS Button to see if it can light up.)
Please ensure the SOS Button use within 426ft range of the Receiver.
What if the Receiver cannot connect to smartphone?
This WiFi caregiver pager only supports 2.4GHz WiFi. Please make sure your router has a 2.4GHz network available before setup.
Keep the receiver within 66ft of the WiFi signal. The closer, the better.
Will this call 911 or emergency services automatically?
No. This is a home caregiver alert system. It sends alerts to the receiver and connected app, but it does not automatically contact emergency services or provide professional emergency monitoring.
Can more than one family member receive app alerts?
Yes. After connecting the device to the Smart Life/Tuya app, you can share device access with family members or caregivers so they can receive app notifications when the SOS button is pressed.
