The camera supports 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi. The camera was updated in March. This is the dual-band camera now.
Suppose your router has dual bands with the same name. The camera will select the correct band. Just choose it.
If your Wi-Fi network is hidden, unhide it. Connect the camera and hide it again.
For privacy reasons, it doesn't work with public networks like hotels, airports, etc.
Tips from our customers:
For a workaround, just use an extension cord or some type of corded surge protector to place it in an ideal location; just make sure it's not obvious.
Leave a USB cord plugged into it, but nothing plugged into the cord, just to make it look like it is used often.
Use the Wi-Fi range extender to install the camera in the farthest corner of the house or garage.
The app has a built-in zoom feature with two fingers on the smartphone screen in remote viewing.
Use a personal Wi-Fi hotspot to place the camera anywhere if you don't have a Wi-Fi router in this place.
