USB Plug & Play
It requires no drivers, simply insert the usb cable to PC‘s usb port, opened application like notepad, you place your cursor wherever you want to enter something and then scan and scans barcodes from item product. The scanner willl send the barcode data instantly to the cursor's position.
Note:
? Can't read any type 2D barcode,like QR code,PDF417,etc.
Powerful edit functions
Users can add or delete characters to the barcode in different groups.
Example 1:
When scanning Code128, delete first 3 characters.
when scanning Code39, delete first 2 characters and add 4 characters after code39.
Example 2:
When scanning barcode, add TAB after the third and eighth digit of barcode.
Compatible System:
Compatible with Windows XP/7/8/10, Mac OS, Linux.
Work with Word, Excel, Novell, Quickbook, InFlow etc.
Only work on device that has USB port, not for iPad, tablet, smart phone .
Not suitable for software with custom scanners, such as Squares.
Compatible Barcode Types:
UPC / EAN (include complement code), Code128, Code39, Code 39 Full ASCII, Codabar, industrial 2 of 5, Interleaved 2 of 5, Code93, MSI, Code11, /ISSN, etc.
Special barcode reading:
? Support reading reverse barcode (white barcode in black background)
NOTE:
? Cannot scan colored barcodes and barcodes printed on colored labels.
?Can't read any barcode from Screen.
?Not suitable for reading barcode from silver foil paper that reflects light.
Three Scanning Mode:
Manual Trigger Mode: Red laser is only on when pressing the trigger.
Continuous Scan Mode: Red laser is always on when the scanner is electrified. Scanning barcode without pressing any trigger.
Auto-Sensing Mode: Red laser will automatically appear to read the barcode once the barcode is detected. There is no need to press the trigger.
Adjustable Stand:
Come with 360 degree revolving stand, combined with auto-sensing mode, frees up your hands thoroughly.

Virtual COM Port Mode
The Bur3094 Scanner also has Virtual COM Port Mode. In This Mode, the scanner needs to work with driver and serial software. Expected final behavior is that even if you open up another universal software like notepad, excel,word etc,the scanned information still show up in the window of serial software.
NOTE: USB Virtual COM Port Mode only works on Window 7/8/10/XP, not works on Mac OS.
