Will not Charge Laptop
The USB 3.0 docking stations using USB Standard A-B connections are not designed to charge the PC (This is because virtually all USB ports do not currently supply enough power to charge the devices like laptops), so the power supply of your laptop will need to be connected to charge it while using this docking station.
