Get accurate soldering temperatures with the Type K Wahl® sensor. With standard accuracy at +/- .75% or +/- 2.2C, the thermocouple provides reliable and accurate temperatures across a broad range. Using nickel-chromium wire legs, this thermocouple solder sensor reacts to applied heat and turns it into a voltage that users can compare to a variety of reference tables for temperature calculation.
Broad Temperature Range Meets Varied Requirements
Type K thermocouple sensors feature an extension wire with temperature limits from 32 to 392 degrees Fahrenheit, and thermocouple-grade wire limits from -454 to 2,300F. Both of these sets of limits provide a wide range that meets the needs of base metal soldering. This K sensor is one of the most common types of test measurement devices, providing a range of compatibility across applications, and durability and resistance requirements.
Position Stop Bonnet Provides Repeatable Accuracy
The bonnet-style Wahl sensor provides a built-in stop that measures tip temperature at the same position each time for repeatable accuracy. Bonnet stabilization prevents tip movement during testing, helping prevent fluctuations in temperature readings when connecting transformer components and other projects that require high-accuracy soldering.
Durable Construction
Made with a Teflon™ glass-filled body and featuring a stainless steel support strap, this solder bead sensor handles repeated use with pens and soldering stations. Tackle large projects with multiple switches and relays, and maintain temperatures across all solders for strong connections.
