The main supply is fed directly into the UPS and charges batteries within the UPS. The battery power is then converted back to the main power to feed the protected equipment. Due to these two conversions, this UPS type is often known as a Double-Conversion UPS.
Zero Transfer Time
True online double-conversion topology for zero transfer time to battery in case of a power disturbance prevents malfunction for mission-critical equipment.
Best waveform for sensitive electronics. Benefits include:
- Smoother waveform
- Best for sensitive equipment
- Higher quality than a modified sine wave
- Maintains voltage at a safe level
- Motors run at their intended speed and with less heat
- Equipment runs with less noise
- IT equipment lasts longer
- Low harmonic distortion
USB & RS232 Communication Ports
Power management with included software to schedule shutdowns, monitor UPS and connected equipment, send email/SMS alerts, and more.
Intelligent Slot
Add on a network card to remotely monitor & control the UPS via ethernet.
Emergency Power Off (EPO) Tab
Instantly shut off the UPS and prevent the UPS from supplying power in the event of an emergency.
cTUVus Certified
TUV-certified for use in the USA & Canada under UL1778 standards. This model has been tested by a third-party lab and passed safety standards.
Comprehensive LCD display shows real-time information on-screen. Status information includes input/output voltages, load capacity, battery capacity, faults, and more. Control and monitor the UPS via on-unit buttons.
- Intelligent Slot for Optional Network Management Card (not included) - Remote power management option with an add-on NMC card.
- Rail Kit - For installation to rack cabinets.
- Optional Backup Time Expansion - Add up to 3 external battery banks for extended runtime.
0.96 Power Factor - A high power factor rating offers efficient loading of the power supply. It maximizes energy efficiency to cut down on energy cost and energy loss by reducing the load on transformers and distribution equipment.
Load Segment Control - Control grouped outlets allow better management of battery power by prioritizing mission-critical devices by manual or pre-setting. This allows mission-critical devices to have longer backup time than non-mission-critical devices.
Expandable Battery Runtime - Add up to 3 external battery banks to extend the battery runtime of your UPS.
2A to 8A Adjustable Battery Charger - Select between 2A to 8A battery charging current for faster battery recharge time depending on the number of external battery modules connected to the UPS. This is especially useful if located in an area with frequent power disturbances that would cause the UPS to run on Battery Mode frequently.
Hot Swappable Batteries - Replace batteries without shutting off the UPS to avoid downtime.
50/60Hz Frequency Converter Mode - Select 50Hz or 60Hz output frequency best suited for connected equipment. It is especially helpful when used to help regulate the speed of motorized equipment to match the frequency.
NOTE: If the input frequency is 60Hz, setting the UPS output frequency to 50Hz will derate the UPS capacity by 40%.
Rack / Tower Convertible - Install the UPS vertically or horizontally.
EMI / RFI Filter - EMI / RFI filter suppresses electromagnetic noise and radio frequency interference transmitted from AC power.
ECO and Advanced ECO Modes - Efficiency Corrective Optimizer (ECO) improves energy consumption by changing how power flows through the UPS.
- ECO Mode: Improves energy efficiency of the UPS by setting the UPS to "standby." Input power will bypass voltage to output when the input voltage is within the acceptable range. Power factor correction and the inverter are still active in this mode.
- Advanced ECO Mode: Improves energy efficiency of the UPS by setting the UPS to "standby." Input power will bypass voltage to output when the input voltage is within the acceptable range. Power factor correction and the inverter are not active in this mode.
