Simple yet durable, no software required
As a PoE Repeater, POR-0100 receives all power from the Power Sending Equipment (PSE), for example, a PoE switch. This means that POR-0100 uses no external power supply, making it the most flexible option for system integrators looking for an easy, affordable solution to increase the distance to the attached devices. POR-0100 has 2 RJ-45 ports for easy deployment, the "IN" port that accepts the power and data for the first 100 meters, and the "OUT" port that boosts and extends the power and data an additional 100 meters. With a durable metal housing, POR-0100 fits into any tight deployments.
Applications
POR-0100 works great for large IP surveillance networks with many cameras deployed throughout a building or campus. It is also an ideal solution for outdoor access points that are located far from the network control center.POR-0100 can also work together with LevelOne's high-power PoE injector, POI-4000. This can extend Ethernet connectivity an additional 100 meters for high power PD devices, such as 18 W IP Cameras or other devices that require power greater than 15.4 W.
