- DJI Matrice 4D is equipped with a 4/3 CMOS 20MP wide-angle camera, a 1/1.3-inch CMOS 48MP medium tele camera, a 1/1.5-inch CMOS 48MP tele camera, and a laser range finder, providing powerful imaging capabilities.
- DJI Matrice 4TD is equipped with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS 48MP wide-angle camera, a 1/1.3-inch CMOS 48MP medium tele camera, a 1/1.5-inch CMOS 48MP tele camera, a infrared thermal camera, an NIR auxiliary light, and a laser range finder. It features powerful thermal imaging and low-light imaging capabilities.
- DO NOT expose the infrared camera lenses to strong sources of energy such as the sun, lava, or a laser beam. Otherwise, the camera sensor may be burned leading to permanent damage.
- The DJI Matrice 4D Series has the following main differences compared to the Matrice 4 Series:
- 1. Supports IP55 protection rating.
- 2. Maximum flight time of 54 minutes.
- 3. Supports greater payload capacity.
- 4. Supports airborne relay, where one drone can fly high as a relay, addressing signal issues in mountainous terrains.
- 5. Arms of Matrice 4D Series drones are not foldable.
- Yes. The remote controller needs to be updated to the latest firmware.
- Yes. To ensure charging speed, it is recommended to prioritize using the DJI 100W USB-C Power Adapter and other 100W+ chargers that support the PD protocol.
- DJI Matrice 4D Series Battery can be charged with DJI Dock 3 and the DJI Matrice 4D Series 240W Charging Hub.
