Product-Specific FAQ

Q1: Why is my LV06 educational desktop solo miner failing to connect to the WiFi network?

A:

  • Ensure you are using a 2.4G WiFi network or a mobile hotspot, as other frequencies are not supported.
  • Verify that your WiFi name (SSID) and password contain only English letters and numbers.
  • Special characters in the WiFi credentials are strictly prohibited and will prevent successful connection.

Q2: The device is powered on, but the hashrate is 0. How do I configure my validation hardware correctly?

A:

  • Check your mining pool address carefully; all mining pools have a minimum access difficulty, and multiple port numbers usually correspond to different difficulties.
  • Since this node operates at 500 GH/s, ensure you choose an appropriate port number with a difficulty under 1000.
  • Also, confirm you are using the correct mainnet wallet address (e.g., BTC addresses generally start with 1, 3, or bc1) or the registered username if the pool requires one.

Q3: The fan works, but the screen does not light up, or the device draws very low power (under 5W). What is wrong?

A:

  • This specific behavior indicates that the control IC has not started properly.
  • While the device is powered on, press the reset button 1 to 3 times to reset the main control chip.

Q4: My device will not turn on at all, or the power adapter light keeps flashing. How can I fix this?

A:

  • Measure the power adapter to ensure its output voltage is 5V +/- 10%.
  • If the adapter does not output 5V +/- 10%, or if the output remains unstable, you must replace the adapter.

Q5: Why does my crypto node keep restarting or show an unstable hashrate during operation?

A:

  • This can be triggered by high-temperature protection; ensure the environment temperature is kept under 30 C and the equipment is placed in a well-ventilated area.
  • If temperature is not the issue, it may be caused by WiFi congestion or mining pool regulations.
  • Try changing to a stable WiFi hotspot or switching to a different, well-known mining pool.
Q6: Can students or developers flash custom firmware onto this SHA256 validation hardware for testing?

A:

  • No, it is strictly prohibited to upgrade the device to unofficial firmware.
  • No after-sales service will be provided if the firmware is upgraded under unofficial guidance.
