It features AUTOGUARD® self-test technology; rated to monitor ground fault protection capability at regular intervals (every 30 seconds). The device is rated to disconnect power when it detects loss of GFCI protection or damage to certain internal components. Visual indicators on the face display power status, trip condition, ground fault detection, and end-of-life notifications. The receptacle does not supply power when reverse wiring is detected.
