RLN36 supports all Reolink 12MP, 8MP, 5MP or 4MP IP cameras. You can choose up to 36 cameras (not included) to work with this NVR & build your own video surveillance system.
Note: Reolink NVRs are designed for Reolink security cameras ONLY.
Higher resolution means more image details to be captured. You will definitely have the best chance to see every image details as you wish.
The RLN36 network video recorder contains 3 HDD bays with each supporting up to 16TB HDD (NO HDD included). With 48TB storage in total and 36 IP cameras recording 24/7 at 6Mbps, the HDDs can last around 20 days. For a list of the recommended HDDs, please refer to the FAQ/Video page for more details on our official website.
Note: HDDs are purchased separately.
This Reolink NVR can be plugged into mic/speaker devices to hear & talk back to whoever you catch on the monitor via Reolink cameras with two-way talk function. The RCA male-to-female converters are required (not included). The USB 3.0 port will help you back up important footage from your HDD to your portable hard drive efficiently.
Note: To fully realize the two-way audio function, connect the NVR to Reolink cameras with the mic & speaker.
8 alarm-in channels for linking extra wired sensors (temperature, IR, magnetic sensors, etc.) to detect separate events; 4 alarm-out channels for commanding controllers (door, light, siren switches, etc.) to execute actions.
The NVR has one LAN port for connecting to a router and four Internet ports (non-PoE) for connecting to a PoE switch or directly to the camera. You can also connect cameras to the NVR via WiFi without wiring.
Note: To protect your PoE switch from overloading, if possible, divide your camera/PoE switch evenly among the four Internet ports. You can choose the Reolink PoE Switch RLA-PS1 for the best compatibility.
