Non-Mirror Mode on Mac OS System
Only Mirror and Non-Mirror Modes are available for Mac OS System. This means, all connected external monitors can only be mirrored your MacBook screen or, all of the external monitors show only one identical display which is different from your MacBook screen.
If you connect the 2*HDMI and 1*VGA ports at the same time, the resolution for all external screens will be 1080P.
The 2 HDMI ports can help to reach the resolution of 4k@30Hz, no matter when used alone or simultaneously.
Upgraded Designed Laptop Docking Station With Collage Mode
This mode is only feasible with Windows System. You are able to expand your field of vision greatly by getting 2 continual display on 2 different monitors.
How to set up your laptop for Collage Mode:
Intel Graphics Settings > Display > Multiple Display > Display Mode > Collage > On > Apply
Multiple Display Mode on Windows System
Only Windows System support MST Mode (Multi-Stream Transport).
If you connect the 2*HDMI and 1*VGA ports at the same time, HDMI1 and VGA monitors can only show one identical display. And the resolution will be 1080P.
If you connect the 2*HDMI ports only, both extended screens will be 1080P.
If you want to reach 4K@30Hz, please connect with 1 HDMI port only.
