How to connect the KVM switch:

Step 1: Connect 1 DisplayPort cable + 1 USB cable between Computer 1 and KVM Switch (USB 3.0, DP 1).

Step 2: Connect 1 DisplayPort cable + 1 USB cable between Computer 2 and KVM Switch (USB 3.0, DP 2).

Step 3: Connect a DisplayPort cable between the KVM switch (DP OUT) and a monitor.
