Product Positioning & Applications
This M.2 to OCuLink PCIe 4.0 extender is a compact connectivity upgrade solution for laptops, mini PCs and slim desktops. It converts an internal M.2 NVMe slot into an OCuLink port, supporting connection to eGPUs, NVMe SSDs and PCIe expansion cards without replacing the host device. Standard length: 20cm(0.66ft), with a 15cm(0.49ft) variant available for different layout needs.
Specifications & Compatibility
Connector A: M.2 M-key (supports 2230/2242/2260/2280, cuttable from 22×80mm); Connector B: OCuLink SFF-8612 (compatible with SFF-8611 4i). Supports PCIe 4.0 x4, up to 64Gbps transfer rate, compliant with NVMe protocol, backward compatible with PCIe 3.0/2.0. Works with Windows, Mac OS and Linux systems.
Construction & Material Advantages
Built with a 20cm flexible printed circuit (FPC) board, the extender bends easily to fit tight enclosures of mini PCs and slim laptops without signal loss. The cuttable design ensures universal fit for all common M.2 socket sizes, eliminating compatibility issues in compact setups.
Installation & Usage Notes
Driver-free plug-and-play design requires no complex setup; just power off the device before installation (hot-swapping is not supported). The package includes a screwdriver and fixing screw for quick assembly. Note: The host devices M.2 NVMe slot must support eGPU expansion to work with OCuLink graphics docks.
Customization & Bulk Procurement
We provide factory direct bulk supply and OEM/ODM services, including custom lengths and specifications. This product is available in 20cm(0.66ft) and 15cm(0.49ft) variants to meet different wiring requirements, making it suitable for both individual upgrades and large-scale enterprise deployments.
