Tech for Less has been in business since 2001 and we are one of the world’s largest stocking vendors of new, open-box, excess, refurbished and end-of-life computer equipment, peripherals and electronics. We stock all major brands of computer products ranging from high-end Sun servers to little Epson inkjet printers. Each product has a warranty and satisfaction guarantee. Nearly every order is shipped the same business day.

  • Return for refund within: 30 days

RMA Policy

•We have a 30 Day return policy and if there does happen to be an issue, we will work with the customer to make it right!
•Tech For Less, not the Customer, arranges for and pays all shipping costs related to authorized, defective returns.
•For non-defective returns, the customer is responsible for their original and return shipping costs. Tech For Less will provide a pre-paid return label for convenience but the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the customer's authorized refund. A non-defective return will be charged a 15% restock fee.
•If a defective product was purchased from Tech For Less as Factory Sealed, Open Box, or Refurbished, the manufacturer Warranty applies. Please contact the manufacturer first for assistance.
•If the manufacturer is unable to assist, please contact our Customer Service Department to arrange for shipment to our repair center. Just as is required when shipping an item to the manufacturer for warranty, the customer is responsible for shipping the item to us. We will ship the repaired item back to the customer at our expense.
•If Tech For Less cannot reproduce the reason for a defective return, the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs and will be charged a 15% restocking fee unless the product is shipped back to the customer at their expense.
•Returned product must be complete, in original boxes and packaging materials and contain all software, accessories, and blank warranty cards provided at time of original purchase. Customer will be charged the replacement cost of missing, damaged, or altered products and accessories.
•Software may be returned only if the factory seal remains intact and is subject to the remainder of this policy.
•In the event that a product received by the customer is defective and the product has been removed from the country after delivery within the USA, the customer must return the product to the ship-to address listed on the invoice, and then Tech For Less will provide a shipping return label for the return to Tech For Less. Tech For Less will not be responsible for any taxes, duties, or fees related to this return. Taking a product permanently out of the USA may void the warranty. Please check with individual manufacturers for specifics and consider one of our extended warranties for added peace of mind.

RMA instructions

When you return an item, you may see different return options available. To request:
1. Log onto your NeweggBusiness.com account. Select New RMA Request option under My Account. Find your order in order history.
2. Click Return an item from this order option to start.
3. Select the return type from Refund or Replace.
4. Select the item(s) you wish to continue.
5. Specify more details, including item quantity, and any additional comments or messages regarding your request before click SUBMIT button.
6. It will take up to 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry after Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry.
7. Once your request is approved, you will be provided with detailed instruction through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before shipping your return merchandise back.
8. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.

When the resellers sends it direct signature through FedEx, you have no choice but to wait around to sign for the package. Super inconvenient to wait and lose a day of work. Just sign for this item.

I can't say I have a problem with the seller but they definitely didn't check this package and it was probably previously returned. I did not get what I ordered but instead a different model that was just thrown into the box of what I had paid for. Sent it back, I'll just go buy it somewhere else.

Needed RAM for an older laptop that really isn't worth investing a ton of cash into. Found a good deal with this seller on exactly what I needed. The memory arrived on time, was well packaged, and was exactly what I'd ordered. (And, of course, worked just fine!) I'd buy from this seller again, for sure.

I ordered an item, it came in, I need to return it for a refund, but now all of a sudden the order is marked "ineligible for refund". What a crock.

Received the item on time as expected Plugged item in and it worked for a few days before it stopped working. Returned item no issue, but once it was returned, it was supposed to be replaced. Newegg stepped in and asked for an update and instead of a replacement, I received a refund. I would buy from them again for sure.
