RMA Policy

TERRAMASTER OFFICIAL Return Policies.
• All returns must include the following or it may be rejected and returned back to you:
• Product purchased from TERRAMASTER OFFICIAL
• Original Condition, no physical damage (exclude damages sustained during transportation)
• All accessories, manuals, warranty registration card, etc.
• Original UPC/serial number intact on product and on retail package (Proof of Purchase)
• All return request for refund or replacement can be submitted via Newegg Return Portal with valid return reason selected within thirty (30) calendar days from the delivery date and valid RMA numbers will be provided by Newegg

Return Requirements and Policy:
1. All return or replacement request will be processed within 2 business days after returned item is received by TERRAMASTER OFFICIAL
2. Shipment received with visible damages must be reported to us within Fifteen (15) calendar days of the delivery date. In the event an item is sold without shipping charge, TERRAMASTER OFFICIAL will refund the amount of sale.
3. All returns with missing part(s) (including, but not limited to, accessories, manuals, warranty registration cards, original manufacturer packing materials and retail packaging) will not be processed until the part is received.
4. Customer is responsible for return shipping expenses for products over 50lbs unless product is defective, damaged, or not as advertised. Replacements will be shipped at our expense.
5. Customer is required to ship the return products with sufficient shipping packaging and void fill material inside to prevent product from physically damaged during return transportation or customer will be responsible for any loss and damages in return shipping. Any loss or damages during the return shipping due to insufficient shipping packaging may result the return to be rejected back to you or charges to be applied to your refund determined by TERRAMASTER OFFICIAL.
6. Upon our acceptance of the merchandise in like new condition in strict conformance with the basic criteria and standard returns policy, the purchase price will be credited to the credit card used for the original purchase.
7. Refund will be issued after our warehouse receives, inspects, and processes your return. TERRAMASTER OFFICIAL will refund back to your method of payment.

Restocking Fees and Return Shipping Labels:
TERRAMASTER OFFICIAL can charge a Restocking Fee if all the following conditions are met:
a.The sold item condition is New (NOT Refurbished)
b.The return is due to the buyer’s personal reason (e.g., No Longer Needed)
c.The item has been opened
d.The product belongs to the following categories: VGA, HD, Motherboard (MB), TV, or Projector
The restocking fee may range between 0-15% at seller's discretion for any qualifying returns.
Return shipping labels within return policy period are free for returns under 50lbs, damaged or defective products, wrong product was sent to you, or the product did not match what was shown on website.
For returns over 50lbs due to the buyer's personal return reason (e.g., No Longer Needed), the buyer is responsible for the return shipping cost.

RMA instructions

When you return an item, you may see different return options available. To request:
1. Log onto your NeweggBusiness.com account. Select New RMA Request option under My Account. Find your order in order history.
2. Click Return an item from this order option to start.
3. Select the return type from Refund or Replace.
4. Select the item(s) you wish to continue.
5. Specify more details, including item quantity, and any additional comments or messages regarding your request before click SUBMIT button.
6. It will take up to 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry after Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry.
7. Once your request is approved, you will be provided with detailed instruction through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before shipping your return merchandise back.
8. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.

I would recommed seller. The only reason for 4 starts and not 5 is that the unit took a while to arrive. Maybe I am used to competition much but I was expeting the unit a little sooner. Granted the snow storm did not help either.

I purchased a NAS from this seller that unfortunately arrived defective. While I understand that issues can happen, the support process was very frustrating. I initially believed I was moving toward an exchange, but after several days I was informed it would only be a refund. At no point was I offered the option to immediately purchase a replacement unit. Because of this miscommunication and delay, I missed important deadlines and had to look elsewhere for a working NAS. With better communication I would have gladly bought another unit from them, but instead the process left me without a system and wasted valuable time. I wont be doing business with this seller again given the experience.

I have been through 3 NAS drives. This one was the easiest to set up and get running. My network and work station immediately saw it. Started copying file over right away from my failing NAS. Took a little bit to understand the interface. This drive is much better at vetting NAS HD, In the process three drive I was reusing came up bad. I would not recommend Terramaster as a vendor. I purchased a TERRAMASTER F4-212 from this seller and I found it the most troublesome NAS that I've ever owned. I could not get the product to work during setup and Terramaster customer support is practically non-existent. You have to rely on reviewing their support forum or contacting them via email and then hope for a response. I would suggest buying from a vendor that has at least phone or chat support. However, the support and return process from Newegg was excellent so I bought a replacement unit from another seller on their site.

Was a great start to my now 500+TB rig. I used this for about 3 years no issues. Granted I did switch out the USB for truenas as I liked that UI a bit better. Hardware is great though! Moved on from the 2 bay NAS to the larger units.

Seller was fine. Product received in reasonable time. Product was fine. Setup was quick. It did take some time for drives to sync in my RAID 1 configuration. Product runs well.
